PBS successfully installed and fabricated curved pipework spanning across 17 floors, conforming precisely to a specific degree.

This achievement involved producing pipework that seamlessly fits the curvature of a 360° round building, all without the need for additional fittings.

PBS fabricated and installed 25 floors of pipework to supply Chilled Beams in this double-block office and workspace development as part of a sustainable and energy-efficient design.

Space House consists of 2 blocks, block 1 of which is 17 floors and is of circular planform, and block 2 is 8 floors of a more conventional rectangular planform.

Block 1 floor space has been meticulously fitted out with curved pipework to feed the chilled beams, PBS fabricated all of the curved pipework off site.

Block 2 is more traditionally fitted, with the majority of floors consisting of chilled beams. Both roof areas are made up of Air Source Heat Pumps which PBS landed and positioned prior to our pipework install.

The basement areas consist of 2 plantrooms, all the pipework has been spooled and fabricated off site.
